WeaveKit vs Zapier, n8n and Lindy for a small business

Zapier, n8n and Lindy are tools you set up and look after yourself, or pay a partner to. WeaveKit builds the AI employee for you and keeps it running. If someone on your team likes building automations and has the hours for it, start with one of those three. If nobody does, that's the job we take.

Why these three

We asked ChatGPT and Claude 40 questions small-business owners ask about AI, three times each, with web search on. Three of the questions named WeaveKit, so we left them out of the count. Across the other 222 answers, Zapier was named 53 times, Make 32, n8n 27 and Lindy 26.

WeaveKit came up zero times. That's expected: until November 4, 2026, our site had no sitemap and no pages written to answer questions like these.

Make came up more often than Lindy. We picked Lindy anyway, because it calls itself an AI employee, which is the closest to what we do.

Prices below are from each company's own pricing page on November 4, 2026. They change, so check before you buy.

Asks before acting A "Require approval before running" switch per tool Human review per tool, answered in Slack, Gmail, Teams and others Says "nothing irreversible happens without your approval" Emails and calendar invites wait for your OK

All four can ask before acting, so that alone won't decide it for you.

Pick Zapier if

You can write down the steps. "When a form comes in, add a row, send a Slack message." Zapier connects to 9,000+ apps, by far the most of these four. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month, and paid plans start at $19.99 a month billed yearly.

Watch what counts. Tasks are the unit, and AI steps and tool calls are charged as well. You own every Zap, so when one breaks, fixing it is on you or on someone you hire. Zapier lists partners who do that work at their own prices: one offers a 75-minute session for $297, another charges $250 an hour.

Pick n8n if

Someone on your team is technical and wants control. n8n bills per run, not per step: €20 a month billed yearly gets 2,500 runs. You can also host it yourself from GitHub, which means you run the server, the updates and the backups. It has an AI agent step and human review on each tool. Its agents are still marked "preview" on the pricing page.

Pick Lindy if

You want an AI teammate in Slack and you're happy to set it up yourself. Lindy is the closest to what we do. It calls itself an AI employee, runs routines like a daily brief at 8 in the morning, and says nothing irreversible happens without your approval. It starts at $49.99 a month for 5,000 credits. Monthly credits don't roll over, and when they run out, anything that uses credits pauses until the next cycle or until you top up at $10 per 1,000.

Pick WeaveKit if

The job is a whole job, and nobody has time to build it.

Two things our AI employees have done for clients. One checked 207 invoices against what each client agreed to pay, in one go, and 4 didn't match. Another logs into partner websites every morning, pulls the new reports and lists what changed. When a website has no way for software to connect, it logs in the way a person would.

You tell us the job on a call. We build it, connect your accounts, load your history into the Brain and keep it running. If it breaks, we fix it. Every job shows what it cost in dollars. Of the nine AI employees that cost us more than a dollar in October, six cost $10 to $60 for the month in model fees.

The honest downsides:

  • It starts with a call, not a sign-up form.
  • The price isn't on the site, because it depends on the job. We tell you on the call, before anything starts.
  • We're small. WeaveKit is built and run by me, Alejandro, and the call is with me.
